A superb side dish and a great way to use up stray greens.

Ingredients
4-5 floury potatoes, peeled and chopped into similarly sized chunks
Small green cabbage, chopped into ribbons
Milk
Butter
Instructions
Place the potatoes in a large pan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and add a generous pinch of salt.
Meanwhile, boil the cabbage for around 5 minutes until softened. Drain and set aside.
When the potatoes are soft, drain them in a colander and return to the pan. Add milk and butter to your taste, then mash to desired consistency.
Add the cabbage to the potatoes and mix to combine.
Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
