Love Food Hate Waste Education Pack
While this pack is linked to the Curriculum for Excellence, and has a number of really useful lesson plans aimed at teachers, it is bursting full of games, activities, songs and more, that anyone in a community setting that works with young people from P1 to S3 can get inspiration from. Since 2009, Feedback has been working hard to combat the food waste scandal. They have a number of useful toolkits, including how to throw a food waste dinner party, and their guide to organising a public event that highlights the problem of food waste.
Hubbub is the charity that creates environmental campaigns with a difference. They aim to in inspire people to make healthier, greener lifestyle choices. Their Food Ideas Bank has loads of tools and support for activities such as setting up a community fridge, or joining their pumpkin rescue.
