The aim of this Love Food Hate Waste workshop is to provide you with knowledge of the scale and impact of food waste in Scotland, as well as understanding and practical skills around the simple things we can all do to stop wasting food and save money in the process. This can then be cascaded to your colleagues, community, friends and family.
You will (if you wish) receive a certificate at the end of the training. We can also provide your organisation with a certificate and all the materials you need to pass the message on.

The training will cover the key messages of the national Love Food Hate Waste campaign, including:
• Understanding date labels
• Storage
• Better use of the freezer
• Portion sizes
• How to use up leftovers

It will also include interactive activities as a way to share these messages locally. The session will last for approximately two hours.

• Discussion around food waste diaries
• Love Food Hate Waste activities
